İzmir Metropolitan Municipality İZDENİZ A.Ş., which has hosted numerous exhibitions and concert events on ships and piers to date, continues to bring art together with art lovers. Within the scope of the works carried out by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Department of Culture and Arts to open public spaces to art, the Pier Exhibitions Project was implemented. The Pier Exhibitions Project, which came to life with its Own Room (KABO) collective work, started at Karsiyaka Pier with its exhibition ON the SHORE on April 22. The first exhibition that takes nature into its center is taking place on the SHORE with the participation of three young artists. In this project, mentored by Tufan Baltalar, artists Melisa Geçalp, Talha Demiral and Gün Baltalar are taking part with Kiosk design. May April 22nd – December29th, Karsiyaka Exhibition can be visited free of charge at the Karsiyaka Pier. Karsiyaka Pier will host 5 more exhibitions until the end of 2024 within the scope of the Pier Exhibitions Project.
