Providing information about the Izmir-Lesbos Line from İZMİR's Alsancak Port, İZDENİZ A.Ş. General Manager Ümit Yılmaz stated that the voyages to Lesbos from Izmir's Alsancak Port, which were held for the first time in the 2022 summer season, will continue in 2024 with the slogan 'Our Route is Lesbos'. Yılmaz said, "After the holiday special voyages we will organize on April 9 and 12, we will start our regular vayages program on May 3."
Stating that opening a new international line from Izmir by sea is important for the maritime industry, Yılmaz said, "In line with the aim of promoting tourism through maritime transportation, our voyages, which are an example of providing mutual trade and tourism between the two sides, attracted great attention in 2023, and the occupancy rate is 100 percent."
